I don’t remember when she made the first choice in life. But she was always adamant about what she wanted.
It attracted flak from her grandparents and all those who thought girls need to be docile and submissive. But I steadfastly stood by her, through all her dilemmas, struggles, setbacks and victories.
Today, I’m proud of my daughter who has chosen adoption, just to transfer the value system to another girl. It doesn't matter if she chooses to marry in future or not. I've raised a self-sufficient woman.
